I have never reviewed a product online before but felt I had to in this case as this was the most helpful and fantastic gift we were given for our first baby. We have used this monitor every day for a little over a year now and it has never let us down. The signal between units reaches a long way which has been extremely useful to us when visiting friends and family. The best part about this monitor are the lullabies which have been a hit with our music-loving daughter from day one. We put the music on every time she goes to sleep and she loves it, and now at a little over a year when she sees the unit she asks for the music at once. It is so useful to be able to use the parent unit to stop and start the lullabies and see the temperature in the baby's room. We also use the torch function on a regular basis. The parent unit has been dropped, chewed, stood on and played with constantly by our baby and has never broken. I cannot recommend this monitor highly enough and seriously cannot imagine how we would manage without it!

after reading rave reviews about this monitor we bought it ready before our baby was born.
it's got loads of great features and i especially liked the talk back facility.
now over 10 months later i feel i can make an informed review...
We are currently on our second BT 150. the first got sent back because it kept loosing the signal between the parent and baby unit. it would loose the signal, try to find it again but when it failed to do so after about a minute it would beep. the result being that it spent most of the evening beeping. the only way to get the units to sync up is to turn the baby unit on and off again - lots of running up and down the stairs trying not to wake a baby.
Unfortunatley the second BT 150 isn't any better, except this one doesn't beep when it looses the signal. So now its not that monitor that lets me know my baby is awake but the sound of her screaming echoing down the stairs.
one baby monitor not working properly can been seen as a fluke, but for the second to suffer from the same problem then there must be something seriously wrong with the design of the monitor itself.
after the first failed i called the BT help line and after explaining the problem was told to return the monitor to where i had bought it.
while we were waiting for the second to arrive we borrowed a cheap tomy monitor. and yes it did make an annoying buzzing noise and didn't have all the flash features but it never lost the signal and i could always hear when my baby needed me.

Whilst I am happy with the performance of this monitor I feel a little let down by the reviews I had read claiming that this monitor was fantastic. It is serving its purpose well but I feel that many of it's features are utterly useless. The parent unit also tends to make a low crackling noise. I bought this to replace a very cheap baby monitor when I moved my baby into her own room but I'm not entirely convinced that it was worth it. The sound clarity on the BT monitor is not that much better than the cheaper one I had. I would say that most baby monitors around this price and perhaps even cheaper will probably offer you very similar sound quality and performance. The BT monitor has not stood out as being that much better than other cheaper alternatives.

I bought this monitor after reading a few good reviews on the internet and I have not been disappointed. Its very clear sound and dose everything I need for a good price. I would definitely recommend this product.

i have not used it yet, I have played with it and it looks easy to use and am looking forward to using it in a few weeks time once my baby is born
